Introduction
Formed in 2022, the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter at Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering (SNGCE) has quickly established itself as a dynamic hub for technological innovation and academic excellence. The chapter has been active in organizing a variety of events and competitions that aim to foster creativity, enhance skills, and promote networking among students.
Membership Statistics
Since its inception, the membership of IEEE CS SBC SNGCE has seen significant growth:
- 2022: 20 student members, 1 professional member (total 21)
- 2023: 73 student members, 1 professional member (total 74)

Achievements
The chapter has achieved notable recognition, including securing the second position in the Emerging Student Branch Awards for 2023-24, organized by AKCSSC at the College of Engineering, Wayanad. This accolade highlights the chapter's commitment to fostering innovation, knowledge-sharing, and community engagement. Additionally, Manu C Madhu was selected as IEEE LINK HSR for the Kochi Section, and Abhirami Sanjeev K was chosen as the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS) Kochi Section Student Representative.IEEE CS SBC SNGCE has created a vibrant community that nurtures technical skills, encourages innovation, and promotes professional development among students. The chapter continues to build on its successes, providing valuable opportunities for its members to grow and excel in the field of computer science.
