‘DESIGN THINKING

Design thinking is anchored to understand the needs of the customers and develop creative ideas that will transform the way a service is provided or a product is developed. Department of Management, SNGCE organized the Faculty Development Program on Design Thinking from 28^th April to 28^th April 2023. It was a thoughtful session by Dr. N S Padmanabhan. Faculty have enjoyed activity-based sessions. FDP was interesting and the faculty got maximum inputs
from the same. This FDP helped the faculty to understand the ways to identify the needs of the students, to think outside of the box, and formulate design solutions to satisfy these needs.

The Seminar on Design Thinking for Faculties provided a platform for faculty members to familiarize themselves with design thinking principles and explore their potential applications in the field of education. Through engaging workshops, collaborative activities, and insightful presentations, participants gained a deeper understanding of design thinking methodologies and how they can be integrated into their teaching practices. The seminar served as a catalyst for faculty members to embrace a user-centered, creative, and innovative approach to education, ultimately benefitting both educators and students alike.
