The students of the 18^th batch were provided training in SPSS software by Ass. Prof. DR. Devi Shekar on April 19^th,2023. SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) is a software tool that is widely used for data analysis, statistics, and research in various fields such as social sciences, marketing, health sciences, education, and more.

The major objectives of the training were to understand the basic concepts of statistics Learn the features and functionality of SPSS software, gain knowledge about statistical tests and techniques commonly used in social science research and learn to use SPSS to create charts and graphs for data visualization.

The training covered various modules including an introduction to statistics, SPSS functionalities, descriptive and inferential statistics, data visualization, and report writing. After completing the training, students gained skills in data import and management, descriptive and inferential statistics, data visualization, and report writing. The training has provided the students with a solid foundation in data analysis and look forward to using SPSS for future research work.

The SPSS training has provided the students with a solid foundation in statistics and data analysis and they have gained valuable skills in using SPSS software to perform data analysis tasks and create visualizations.
