The Department of Management Studies of Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering conducted a seminar for MBA Batch 2021-2023, on 29th April 2022. The topic was Blue Chip Company/stock safer investment and Business Analytics in the digital age. From the session, the students learned, like the blue poker chips, blue chip companies are also of high value. They are well-known, stable, and well-capitalized companies. Investment in these companies is relatively safer than investment in mid and small-cap companies. Blue chips are characterized by a large market capitalization, a listing on a major stock exchange, and a history of reliable growth and dividend payment. Blue chip stocks are considered relatively safe investments, with a proven track record of success and stable growth.
The seminar provided valuable networking opportunities for students. The guest speaker shared experiences and expertise, allowing students to establish connections and gain valuable insights into the finance and investment field.
