The Civil Engineering Association of SNGCE was officially inaugurated in a grand ceremony on 19.12.2024 attended by Principal Dr. S Jose, HOD Mr. Ajith A V, faculty members, students, and distinguished guests. The event marked the beginning of a new academic year filled with technical activities, workshops, and seminars for the holistic development of civil engineering students.

The inauguration ceremony commenced with a prayer by Vismaya, Ashitha, and Sreelakshmi (C8 students), followed by a welcome address by Mr. Ajith A V, HOD. The Principal addressed the gathering, delivering an insightful talk on the importance of technical associations in fostering academic and professional growth. He encouraged students to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the Civil Engineering Association to enhance their knowledge and skills.

The inauguration proceeded successfully with the lighting ceremony, followed by a speech by the chief guest. Ms. Ambili Ravi, the esteemed chief guest, delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the significance of civil engineering in societal development. She highlighted the evolving trends in the industry and encouraged students to actively participate in skill-enhancing activities. She also shared her professional experiences and insights into working with the Local Self Government Department, motivating students to contribute to infrastructural advancements, as well as sharing her experiences at SNGCE.

Ms. Ashna (C8) delivered a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, and students for making the event a success.
