The Department of Civil Engineering at SNGCE, in association with Edwise International, organized an insightful session titled "Building a Global Career: Study and Work Abroad." The session aimed to provide students with valuable guidance on higher education opportunities and career prospects abroad.  The session started with a silent prayer followed by a welcome speech by Vandana S(C8).  Ms. Vineetha A, provided an in-depth overview of studying and working abroad for various branches of engineering. She elaborated on various aspects, including university selection, scholarship opportunities, visa procedures, and career prospects in different countries. The session covered, the importance of global exposure in education and career development, popular study desinations and their admission requirements, financial planning, including scholarships and loan assistance, work opportunities during and after studies abroad and challenges faced by students in foreign countries and ways to overcome them. The session allowed students to clarify their queries regarding application processes, entrance exams, and adapting to new academic environments. The program came to an end with the vote of thanks by Navya Balakrishnan (C8).
