To encourage the future leaders of Maritime India to take centre stage, develop soft and cognitive skills, build interpersonal relationships, IMO in collaboration with Global Maritime India Summit 2023 and G20 conducted IMO MOCK SESSION 2023. Four teams consisting of students from the department of Naval Architecture and Ship Building Engineering, SNGCE have been qualified to the final round and would be representing the college infront of a nation wide audience. The students were given the opportunity to discover the working and norms of International Maritime Organisation. The theme of the competition: Reduction of GHG emissions from ships., have instilled a sense of responsibility as a Naval architect to learn the preventive measures to be undertaken for a cleaner maritime transport and operations in the students
Surya E S and Vishnuvardhan S of batch 2020-2024 received first and second prizes in the "FREEDOM QUEST" quiz competition held as part of Independence Day conducted by IEEE SB SNGCE in 2023.
Ms. Mareena Davis of 2019-2023 batch secured the first position in APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
