» The candidate should have a minimum CGPA of 6.0 in a 10 point scale in the Engineering Degree Examination. For SEBC (OBC) students, the minimum CGPA requirement is 5.5 in a 10 point scale. Wherever the credit system is/was followed, only CGPA will be considered for selection. If the candidate has obtained the bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a University where credit system is/was not followed, he/she should have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (For SEBC /OBC students, a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the Engineering Degree examination is mandatory). For SC/ST candidates a pass in the Engineering Degree Programme is sufficient.
» Candidate must be a citizen of India.
» Candidates, who have passed AMIE / AMIETE Examinations and satisfying the following conditions, are also eligible for admission.
i) They must have valid GATE score.
ii) A minimum of 55% marks for section B in AMIE/AMIETE examination.
» Candidates who have degrees awarded from other Universities shall submit Eligibility Certificate as well as Migration Certificate at the time of admission.
» Sponsored candidates from Industries, R&D organizations, National Laboratories as well as Educational Institutions, with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering are eligible for admission to the M.Tech Programme.
» Admission shall normally be restricted to those with valid GATE score . However, this stipulation is relaxed in the case of sponsored candidates. In case seats remain vacant due to lack of candidates with valid GATE score, candidates without valid GATE score shall be considered. Admission to such seats will be made on the basis of their CGPA/% marks scored in their Engineering Degree.
» The reservation policy of the Government of Kerala shall be followed in admission to the M.Tech. programme.
» Candidates who have appeared for the final examination can also apply provided he/ she has passed all the subjects up to and including the 6th semester exam. Such candidate shall submit self-attested copies of all mark lists up to 6th semester along with the application. Selection of such candidates shall be subject to the production of qualifying degree.
» Admission procedure is subject to modification as may be deemed necessary subject to further orders, if any, passed by appropriate authorities.
» SSLC/ Secondary Examination certificate in original for proof of age; with two self-attested copies.
» Mark List and Pass Certificate of plus II / Equivalent in original, with two self-attested copies.
» Qualifying degree Certificate and Mark lists with two self-attested copies each.
» Physical fitness certificate from a Government Medical Practitioner.
» Transfer Certificate in original from the Institution last studied.
» Course and conduct certificate from the Head of the Institution last studied.
» Migration certificate in original, for students who have passed degree from Universities outside Kerala.
» Eligibility certificate from KTU, for students who have passed degree from Universities outside Kerala.
» Sponsorship Certificate, if applicable
» GATE score card (for candidates with valid GATE score)
» DTE Score card
» Copy of Aadhar card
» Three passport size photographs
